Ocean Orchards was founded in 2019 with the goal to improve the health of people and the planet using microalgae. We started with Spirulina, which we grow on our own algae farm, studying its amazing antioxidant profile - it’s hard not to notice given its brilliant blue colour.
We soon realised its potential in skin care, as a highly potent antioxidant mixture. We didn’t stop there though - we have since added yeast and are working on new extracts to come!
Our Story.
Our farm is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Our facility is solar enabled and utilises purified rainwater.
Microbes have the ability to produce complex, unique mixtures of molecules, different than those we can create synthetically in a lab.
While we believe in the power of natural products - we are not anti-science. Far from it. By mixing potent plant extracts with scientifically proven ingredients we can combine the best of both Worlds.
